We were invited along to take part in a modelling shoot for Brockbushes farm Corbridge, Northumberland and take part in some fun Halloween activities this half term. Brockbushes have a tea room, farm shop and pick your own fruit area so loads going on all through the year. The kids loved the pumpkin carving and making pumpkin sculptures in the field! The farm shop and cafe were great too and I was able to get some meal ideas while the kids got ready for their close up! We have been doing ‘real family’ modelling with Tyne Tees models for a couple of years now and they always look after us.

After picking your best pumpkin from the patch you can carve your pumpkin under shelter and you’re given all the tools you need. A lovely member of staff helped us too making it really fun for the children. If they had to rely on my artistic capabilities it may have been a different story! The cafe and farm shop offer plenty of choice and was lovely to walk around until it was time for photos. We loved looking at all of the spooky decorations and next time will be sure to check out the Satanic Panic event (older kids only!) if I dare……….

Pumpkin heaven!

Carving time!

Plenty of chance to taste the produce!
I’m Cassie, a mum of 3, (most of the time I haven’t had chance to straighten my hair or drink a hot cup of tea) trying to juggle life as we all are and failing some of the time, but try and see my glass as half full!
